2018 MERCYCARE ORATION PRESENTS LOUNG UNG

A daughter of Cambodia remembers

Loung’s tale of enormous courage is told in her bestselling memoir, First They Killed My Father and more recently in the Hollywood movie adaptation directed by Angelina Jolie. Following the killing of her parents, two sisters and twenty other relatives during the Khmer Rouge takeover, five year old Luong was forcibly trained as a child soldier.
Loung will recount her inspiring story of having survived one of the bloodiest episodes of the 20th century, making a new life as a refugee in America and her continuing activism to make sure those left behind are never forgotten.

Can I get a tax invoice for my donation?

Yes, your tax invoice will be sent in the confirmation email direct from Eventbrite. Please retain this for your records.

What is the refund policy?

Donations are non-refundable.

Why am I being asked for a Tax ID?

If you are registering as an individual or unregistered business and do not have a Tax ID (ABN) please ensure you have selected 'Individual' in the drop-down list of the registration form.

Do I have to bring my ticket to the event?

Yes, as this is an invitation only event you must bring either your printed or mobile ticket to gain entry on the evening.

Parking

The Hyatt Regency Perth is pleased to be able to offer guests attending the 2017 MercyCare Oration a discounted parking voucher for the Secure Parking located underneath the hotel. In order to take advantage of this offer, please enter the car park via Terrace Road where you will receive a ticket upon entry. Please note, this ticket must be presented on the evening to staff at the parking validation desk who will issue you with a discounted parking voucher. The discounted parking voucher contains instructions on how to use it and allows you to park for a discounted rate of $15 for a maximum of 15 hours.
